Climate Change and Global Health
Overview
Weather extremes can have significant to extreme human health impacts. These impacts fall disproportionately on the economically disadvantaged, whether within less developed countries, or the economically disadvantaged within wealthy countries. We aim at quantifying regional climate-health impacts, understanding disparities and improving community resilience through applied climate, health, technology, and policy research, to promote local capacity building in vulnerable regions around the world.
